I have wanted to be a hair stylist since I was in my teens. I went to Beauty School in Newport News, Virginia. I won trophies for first place in cutting, styling and coloring while I was still in Beauty School. I have been offered jobs with Paul Mitchell and also with Clairol but declined due to family issues.

I have lived in France, Germany, Arizona, Washington D.C. and Newport News Virginia. My husband, my son and I moved to Florida as we have always loved the beaches and warm weather.

I found Shear Impressions Salon and fell in love with having a private room to give my clients individual and personalized attention without distractions. A private room affords my clients the opportunity to have their services done without onlookers and distractions. I also have a computer available so we can look at styles together.

I allow enough time for each client so that we can discuss issues they may be having with their hair or any changes they may want to make in the future. I don't want my clients to feel rushed. I want my clients to relax and enjoy the experience. I also take the time to show you how to style and maintain your hair after you have left the salon. In this way, you will be able to do the styling yourself in between visits.
